AirPnP introduces hosts and drivers, but the parking happens in person and deals are handled off-platform — so a little care goes a long way. Here's how to stay safe and protect your privacy on both sides.

For hosts

Sharing your spot safely

AirPnP only ever shows drivers an approximate area — your exact address is never displayed. Give a driver your precise location yourself, in chat, only once you're comfortable.
Chat in-app first. Get a feel for the driver and confirm the event, dates, and vehicle before agreeing.
Put the price, dates, and any rules in writing in the chat so there are no surprises on match day.
Be cautious with payment: deals are off-platform, so beware of overpayment, fake-receipt, or 'send it back' scams. Prefer cash or a trusted payment app on arrival.
Don't share more personal info than a deal needs. Never hand over keys, codes, or documents to someone you haven't vetted.
Tell a friend or housemate your plans for match day if you live alone.
Always settle payment before the driver leaves the parked vehicle.

For drivers

Finding parking safely

Always ask the host to show proof of ownership of the property before you park (ask the host to walk into the house, etc.) so you don't get played :) This is not about being polite, this is about protecting yourself and the community!
Message the host in-app first and ask questions — confirm the exact location works for you only once they choose to share it.
Agree on the price and the time window in writing in the chat before you commit or pay anything.
Be wary of deals that seem too cheap, hosts who push you off-platform immediately, or requests to pay deposits to unverifiable accounts.
On arrival, check the spot matches the listing before paying. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, walk away.
Share your plans (where you're parking, who with) with someone, and arrive with a charged phone.
Protect your own details — share only what's needed to complete the parking arrangement.

AirPnP doesn't process payments, verify users, or take part in your arrangement — you're responsible for your own safety. If someone behaves badly, stop the deal and report them.
