Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-14
1. Overview
This policy explains what AirPnP collects, why, and your choices. AirPnP
introduces Hosts and Drivers and helps them communicate; we keep data to that
limited end.
2. Information we collect
- Account basics from Google sign-in (name, email, profile image).
- Information you enter: your role, contact handles you add for closing deals,
parking-spot listings, availability and prices, and messages you send.
- Consent records: when you accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy we record
the date and time, the versions and content hashes of the documents you
accepted, the exact on-screen consent text, the page you accepted on, and —
as proof of consent — your IP address and browser user-agent.
- Basic technical/auth data (cookies and session information) needed to keep you
signed in.
- Security and activity logs: to operate and protect the service we keep records
of key actions taken in the app (for example signing in, listing a spot, or
sending a message) along with your IP address and device/browser user-agent.
We log activity metadata only — never the contents of your messages.
3. How we use it
To operate the service (matching, messaging, listings), to keep you signed in,
to keep a record that you agreed to our terms, and to detect, investigate, and
prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
4. What we share
We do not sell your personal information. We never display a spot's exact
location to other users — only an approximate area — and contact details are
revealed only through the in-app contact-sharing flow that you control. Any
precise address or anything else you arrange off-platform with another user is
between you and them.
5. Location privacy
Spot locations are shown to other users only as an approximate, blurred area; a
spot's exact coordinates and street address are never exposed to anyone but the
Host. Connecting only lets you message the Host — it does not reveal the exact
location.
6. Data retention and your choices
We keep your account, profile, and listing data for as long as your account is
active. In-app messages are retained for 90 days; after that their content is
automatically deleted and the conversation shows "EXPIRED MESSAGE" in its place.
Security and activity logs are kept for up to 12 months to protect the service,
then deleted. Consent-audit records may be retained as evidence of acceptance
even after an account is deleted. You can delete your account at any time from the account
menu, which removes your listings and profile. You may also request access to or
deletion of your data via the contact below, subject to legal limits.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new version
date, and you may be asked to accept the updated policy before continuing.
